Excitement and Anticipation to Experience God

Prophetic Training

If you're reading this on Saturday, I'm in a session at the Remnant Radio Conference, hanging out with other Wellspringers, learning about healing and deliverance, and ministering on the prayer team. There are a number of us at the church who are small group leaders for the Remnant Radio School of Supernatural Ministry. Specifically we lead groups in the Intro to Spiritual Gifts courses. One thing I realized this year is that even though we practice the gift of prophecy every Sunday at Wellspring, and even though I pray for healing and deliverance often, I never see MORE of all that stuff than when I lead these smallgroups. 

That's interesting. Why am I seeing more of that in the groups than in my daily life? I believe the answer is that the groups are comprised of people who are sacrificing their time and money to try something new as they pursue the Lord. The people join the small groups with excitement and anticipation to experience God. 

What if we took that and applied it to Wellspring? What if we showed up to church on Sunday with excitement and anticipation to experience God? I think we'd see more healing, prophecy, deliverance, and salvations. 

We have 3 Ministry Teams at Wellspring where you can be trained in and given opportunities to experience prophecy, healing, deliverance, and seeing people give their lives to Jesus.

This couldn’t wait...

Jerry, serving in the snack room at VBS As of the writing of this post, it’s 3:00 am. I woke up, realizing I hadn’t actually organized strategic prayer for Jerry Slagle yet, and this is no small matter. The original plan was to send out a VBS recap email, but that can wait until next week. Jerry has been fighting cancer for more than two years. Recently, he was given a very sad and scary report from his doctors that he only has limited time left, less than a year. What is your assignment as a Disciple?

From the Pastor's Desk In the sermon "The Job Description of a Disciple," I shared one of my favorite Christian practices: listening to, reading, and watching great Christian testimonies. I consider this a spiritual practice because it stirs my faith to hear how my brothers and sisters in Christ have gone before me, setting excellent examples of laying down their lives for Jesus.  Here is a list of testimonies and resources that could keep you reading, listening, and watching for years to come!
