A Wellspringer on Remnant Radio!
Last Wednesday, a member of Wellspring named Brick Cliff was a guest on Remnant Radio. When Remnant said they wanted to interview Brick, we set him up to record the interview in our podcast studio, which is, of course, the old Remnant Radio studio from back when Michael Rowntree was pastor at Wellspring.

If you haven't heard Brick's story, or if you haven't heard about the ministry Brick runs (Nation2Nation), then you need to listen to this episode. Brick's story includes everything from getting pushed down by manipulative Charismatic ministers to seeing hundreds of undeniable healing miracles--to training thousands of pastors across the world--to saving countless lives through simple teaching on sanitation and agriculture--to a death-defying escape from a war-torn country--twice!
This episode is really fun for many reasons, but my favorite part is the part about the Miracle Tree! I keep raving about it.
Nation 2 Nation is a ministry partner of Wellspring's, and we have a fun update to give. As many of you know, Wellspring has supported Mission Barnabas for more than 20 years, but you may also hear us calling it Clarence Matheny Ministries or CMM, which is what they call it in Kenya. This ministry has been on the ground in Kenya since the late 1960s, which means it has a LOT of credibility in the Swahili-speaking world. Wellspring got to act as match-maker for Brick with Nation2Nation and Ronnie from Mission Barnabas.
The two ministries have begun to work together, and both ministries have said that the partnership is the most impactful connection they have ever made. Originally, Ronnie invited Brick to be a "part" of the big Mission Barnabas/CMM pastor's conference they hold each year in Kenya. For the past 3 years, I was similarly invited to go speak and teach a breakout session. However, when Brick took his Nation2Nation curriculum to the pastor's conference, ALL of the pastors wanted to go to his breakout session!
Once you know what Brick actually offers, it's obvious why. Attending Brick's breakout session meant learning how to start and operate an accredited mobile Bible college. It meant getting all the legal red-tape squared away to start such a college, and it meant getting the electronic courses for a full 4-year school teaching theology, community development, agriculture, and medicine.
After it became clear that Nation2Nation was much too big a deal to merely be a "part" of a conference, Ronnie and Brick (and Wellspring!) worked together to put on the first-ever Nation2Nation/CMM conference. In the first week of September, 526 pastors from all across Sub-Saharan Africa were equipped to start these accredited Bible/Community-Development Colleges. That's not 526 people trained. That's 526 training institutes starting within the next 3 years. And what's more mind-blowing is that many of the people who attended the conference are responsible for dozens or even hundreds of churches, which means they will be starting several of these institutes.
