What's next in Missions for Wellspring?
From the Pastor's Desk
Hello Wellspring,
Pastor David here to give you an update about our Missions Ministry!
This week, we are sending out our first Mission Updates.
Mission Updates are regular updates on how to KNOW, PRAY, GIVE, GO for our Mission Partners [we have 10 of them! 5 local and 5 non-local!].
2 Things Will Happen as a Part of this Update:
- Adopt a Mission Emails - if you selected to adopt one of our Missions through the Missions Week sign-up, the sign-up during the Member's Meeting, or the sign-up option online...you will be getting your FIRST Missions Update this week sent to your email address.
- Mission Blog Updates - all Mission Updates for every ministry will be posted on our Missions Blog so you can hop onto our website and see how our Ministry Partners are doing.
If you haven't Adopted a Mission yet
If you haven't adopted a mission to KNOW, PRAY, GIVE, GO for 2025; you can do so by selecting the Mission at the top of the Missions Blog.
Here's a little taste of Missions for you from our Latin American ministry partner.
1,000 New Disciples were baptized today!
Wow! Praise God! Our Mission Partners are advancing the Kingdom from Our Neighborhood to the Nations!
A quick note on our Latin American ministry partner:
Because of the sensitive nature of our mission work in Latin America, we will give you an update in person rather than online.

Alright, that's all folks!
Thank you for helping Wellspring spread the Kingdom through our Ministry Partners!

What to Believe:
- God is One God who eternally exists in three distinct persons
- God the Father is Yahweh
- Jesus the Son is Yahweh. When the disciples worshipped Him after the storm, if Jesus were not Yahweh, He would not have allowed them to worship Him as such.
- The Bible is okay with us not fully understanding it
- The Holy Spirit is Yahweh
- Yahweh is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
- The Holy Spirit enables us to interact with God as the Father. Jesus is the Son who reveals the Father to us, and He cleanses us to make us right with the Father, but the Holy Spirit is the supernatural way of engaging with the Father.
- The Holy Spirit isn’t only poured out upon individuals. God pours His spirit out on the church.
How to Obey:
- Let the Bible be your foundation for understanding God and what He has created.
How to Walk Intimately with God:
- God wishes to be near to you. Let Him define Himself for you. He wishes to be known as the Father. We can see this in the High Priestly Prayer in John 17, specifically in verse 21, “that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us.” Jesus did only as the Father said and did so if Jesus desired us to be one with Him as He is one with the Father, then the Father wishes the same for us to be one with Him as He and the Son are one. If the Son wishes for us to be one with Himself, we walk in the same identity as children of the one He calls Father.
