What we Believe
Jesus fulfilled the law perfectly…even from birth.
We are designed to pursue a life where we are righteous and devout, like Simeon.
Jesus has a heart to comfort His people.
Israel's history of deliverance was exclusively from kingdoms of oppression…Jesus' deliverance from spiritual bondage, but not national bondage, was unique and almost entirely unexpected.
In the midst of waiting for the fulfillment of life in the form of Jesus coming back, Jesus has specific personal promises over your life in the meantime.
Jesus didn't come just for Israel but for the whole world…
Jesus is so awesome that we should marvel at His nature and work every time.
Those who fell because of Jesus were the proud and those unwilling to surrender and follow Him. Those who rose were the humble and those willing to surrender and follow him.
God can speak without it becoming Scripture…He spoke to Anna, and He speaks today.
God loves to be near to people who pursue Him in every season.
How to Obey
As parents, we are responsible for teaching and helping our children follow the ways of Christ until they are able to do so themselves.
In the New Year, commit to be led by the Spirit, not the flesh. From this place, God, through the Spirit, will lead you into righteousness and goodness.
- Seek and find God's comfort for you today. And share it with others.
Anticipate and long for the consolation of the world - the 2nd coming of Jesus.
We need to be a people that shares the good news of the Consolation of the world to Jesus.
It is good to seek out the Lord's specific plans for your life.
How to Walk Intimately with God
Consolation is not just a feeling but a person. Allow HIM to BE your comfort, not just GIVE you comfort.
Be open to God calling you to the extraordinary or the mundane. If he's calling you to it, it's important. Whether extraordinary or mundane is merely our perspective of it.
Worship, Fasting, and prayer are worthy responses in every season.
