In case you missed it

From the Pastor's Desk In case you missed them, here are two videos I want to make sure you see. The first one is the Wellspring Campus Update that Joe gave to the first service a few weeks ago. The second service didn't get to see this, so if you missed it, please watch it here.  Wellspring Campus Update The second video is extremely long, but worth it. Many of you know that our very own Miguel Valle was invited to speak at an event in Chicago called the Freedom March. He got to share his testimony of coming out of the gay lifestyle to follow Jesus.  Here is a LINK to the live-streamed video on the Freedom March Facebook page. Miguel prays 0:25 Miguel's Testimony 1:36:25 Grezuana's Testimony 2:24:50 (Grezuana is a young lady who attended Wellspring for a few months last year. She had been living as a man only two years ago, but she turned away from that life as well and just got married! She now attends church with her hubby, Daniel)

Spiritual Warfare is Simple

Notes from the Pastor's Desk Don’t be fooled by the title of this post. Spiritual warfare is not something to take lightly. There are forces of evil operating in ways we can’t see, but they affect us. In the sermon “Foundations of Spiritual Warfare,” which I preached just yesterday, I explain what I mean by “simple.”  The best way to win spiritual battles is to believe in the basics of Christianity and to get stubborn about it. Jesus is king!  Here is a video I have put together as a training tool for other ministers. It explains a simple method I use to help people win spiritual battles. Click here for my  Four Questions Deliverance/Inner-Healing video. Fasting Fasting and Prayer are significant parts of spiritual warfare. During the sermon, I invited everyone to join our Wednesday morning prayer time (8-9:30 a.m.) and our Wednesday night prayer (6-7 p.m.) in the Worship Center. I forgot to mention that we would also be fasting on Wednesdays. Please consider joining in ...

Calling all prayer warriors

Image
From the pastor's desk Last year, we released a prayer Journal called the Seeking Journal. It provided a guideline for us to write specific prayers in our daily prayer times. One of the sections was titled "Pray for your enemies." At first, I skipped that section in my daily prayers because I didn't feel like I had any enemies. However, the Lord put it on my heart to begin praying for witches and Satanists who may already have been cursing Wellspring even though we didn't know about it yet.  After we had been praying for these nameless enemies for a few weeks, during Wednesday night prayer, we prayed in tears that God would actually send us a witch or a Satanist that we could bless to their face. The very next Sunday a Satanist showed up to church. God had prepared us for him, and over the of the summer, he renounced Satan and gave his life to Jesus!  I'm writing now to call us to attention as prayer warriors again . On Sunday morning, Oct. 6, during the 11am ...
