Disciples Who Hear God's Voice

Over the last few weeks, we have been in a series called Practical Freedom Ministry, which has been breaking down the basics of spiritual warfare. The timeline of how we ended up here is interesting, and when I noticed this one thing, I realized that God was setting us up.  Many of you remember that the Remnant Radio Conference was the first weekend of October. A few Wellspringers went to the conference, which focused on spiritual warfare, and we participated in numerous deliverances where people got set free from evil spirits. The next weekend, I was invited to New Hampshire to teach a four-part conference on spiritual warfare, while at the same time, Michael Miller came to Wellspring and hosted a Well service on the subject of breaking spiritual curses.  After that, I felt that we needed to start our Practical Freedom Ministry series, which we've been in ever since.   I said it on Sunday, and I'll say it again. It's an honor to be a part of a church that is getting its hands dirty doing the work of the ministry. Last week, we had our second annual Missions Week, where we invited all of our ministry partners to our Missions Sunday service, an after-church lunch, and our Missions Gala on Sunday night. Then on Wednesday, we gathered during our regular weekly prayer meeting and spent the evening laying hands on and praying for each of our ministry partners.  Afterward, we headed to our Adopt-a-Mission night, which consisted of another dinner whipped up by one of the two professional chefs who attend this church.  Click the picture above to see a video of one of our mission partners, Bishop Chola, teaching a room full of Americans how to show honor the Kenyan way. We will meet all of our Ministry Partners, sing some internationally infused worship, and hear a message about Missions.  Sunday Night Sunday night is our  Adopt a Mission Gala  where we'll get a chance to interact with all of our Ministry Partners, learn what God did in their ministry last year, & join with fellow Wellspringers in raising funds for Missions.  You won't need to bring funds to participate in the night, but there will be opportunities to give available!
